- 1 wheel Président® Brie (8oz)
- 1 large apple (Honeycrisp or Gala), diced finely
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- ½ tsp ground cinnamon
- ¼ tsp nutmeg
- 2 tbsp honey, for drizzle
- ¼ cup chopped pistachios for garnish
- Crostini, for serving
Instructions
- Preheat the grill or smoker to 350°F.
- Place a cast-iron skillet on the grates to preheat.
- Dice the apple into small pieces and toss well to coat with brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- Melt butter in the skillet, then add the seasoned diced apples.
- Cook for 5–6 minutes until softened and caramelized.
- Slide apples to the sides of the skillet and place Brie in the center.
- Warm for 10-12 minutes until softened and melty.
- Remove from heat, and add a drizzle of honey and crushed pistachios. Serve with crostini and enjoy!
