
Grilled Prosciutto Wrapped Brie with Candied Bacon Jam
This grilled brie recipe is the perfect outdoor savory appetizer! A whole Président® Brie wheel is wrapped in thinly sliced prosciutto, grilled until crispy on the outside and molten inside, topped with a smoky-sweet candied bacon jam. Served with toasted bread or grilled steak!

- 1 wheel Président® Brie 8 oz
- 6-8 slices prosciutto
- Cracked black pepper, to taste
- Rustic bread or baguette, sliced and toasted
- Bacon jam from scratch, or ready-made fig jam
Instructions
- Wrap the Brie: Place brie in the center of a board and wrap it fully with prosciutto, overlapping slightly.
- Grill the Brie: Place on a preheated grill over medium heat. Grill for 3–4 minutes per side until prosciutto is crispy and brie is softened
- *Optional* Make the Bacon Jam: In a skillet over medium heat, cook bacon until almost crispy. Add shallots and cook until soft. Stir in brown sugar, maple syrup, vinegar, Dijon, and black pepper. Simmer for 8–10 minutes until thickened. Let cool slightly. Alternatively, top with ready-made fig jam.
- Serve: Remove from grill and top with bacon jam or fig jam. Serve immediately with toasted bread.
Bacon Jam
- 1 cup thick-cut bacon, diced
- 1 small shallot, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
