Whipped Brie Two-Ways
  • 8 oz Président® Brie
  • 1/4 cup Pomegranate seeds
For The Whipped Brie:
  1. Use a peeler or cheese slicer to remove the outer rind off the entire wheel of Brie while the Brie is still set and chilled. Cut into bite size squares. Pro tip: softened Brie blends smoother and creamier when whipped. Leave out at room temperature for at least 30-60 minutes before using.
  2. Add Brie to the food processor and blend for a few minutes until smooth and creamy.
  3. Arrange the whipped Brie in a serving bowl or plate.
Candied almonds
  • 1/2 cup Sliced almonds
  • 1 tbsp Unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp Granulated sugar or light brown sugar
For The Candied Almonds:
  1. Add sliced almonds and butter to a large pan. Cook over medium heat, tossing frequently until the almonds are golden brown for about 5-8 minutes.
  2. Add sugar and stir consistently until melted and caramelized for 1-2 minutes. Set aside to cool.
  • 1 whole Baguette
For The Crostini:
  1. Cut the baguette into equal slices.
  2. Place on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and drizzle with olive oil on both sides.
  3. Broil on high for about 1-2 minutes, then flip and repeat until crispy and golden.
  4. Arrange crostini around the whipped Brie. Set aside candied almonds and pomegranate seeds. Spread whipped Brie onto crostini and add toppings right before ready to serve.
