5Whipped Brie Two-Ways
- 8 oz Président® Brie
- 1/4 cup Pomegranate seeds
For The Whipped Brie:
- Use a peeler or cheese slicer to remove the outer rind off the entire wheel of Brie while the Brie is still set and chilled. Cut into bite size squares. Pro tip: softened Brie blends smoother and creamier when whipped. Leave out at room temperature for at least 30-60 minutes before using.
- Add Brie to the food processor and blend for a few minutes until smooth and creamy.
- Arrange the whipped Brie in a serving bowl or plate.
Candied almonds
- 1/2 cup Sliced almonds
- 1 tbsp Unsalted butter
- 2 tbsp Granulated sugar or light brown sugar
For The Candied Almonds:
- Add sliced almonds and butter to a large pan. Cook over medium heat, tossing frequently until the almonds are golden brown for about 5-8 minutes.
- Add sugar and stir consistently until melted and caramelized for 1-2 minutes. Set aside to cool.
Crostini
- 1 whole Baguette
For The Crostini:
- Cut the baguette into equal slices.
- Place on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and drizzle with olive oil on both sides.
- Broil on high for about 1-2 minutes, then flip and repeat until crispy and golden.
- Arrange crostini around the whipped Brie. Set aside candied almonds and pomegranate seeds. Spread whipped Brie onto crostini and add toppings right before ready to serve.
