Rondelé® Garlic & Herbs Fried Mac & Cheese Bites

Ingredients
  • 2 cups elbow macaroni
  • 1 tub Rondelé® Garlic & Herbs (to taste)
  • 1 ¼ cups milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 ½ cups panko breadcrumbs
  • Black pepper (to taste)
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Oil for frying
Instructions
  1. Bring a pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook the macaroni according to package directions. Drain well.
  2. Stir in Rondelé® Garlic & Herbs (to taste) and milk until smooth and creamy.
  3. Line a square baking dish with plastic wrap. Pour in the macaroni mixture, spread evenly, and cover with plastic wrap. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or until firm.
  4. Once chilled, remove from the dish and cut into bite-sized squares.
  5. Set up a dredging station with three bowls: one with flour, one with whisked eggs, and one with panko breadcrumbs.
  6. Coat each mac & cheese square in flour, then dip in egg, then coat with panko.
  7. Heat oil in a deep fryer or pan to 350°F (175°C). Fry bites in batches until golden and crispy, about 2-3 minutes.
  8. Remove from oil and drain on a paper towel-lined plate.
  9. Serve and enjoy!
