
Rondelé® Garlic & Herbs Fried Mac & Cheese Bites

- 2 cups elbow macaroni
- 1 tub Rondelé® Garlic & Herbs (to taste)
- 1 ¼ cups milk
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup flour
- 1 ½ cups panko breadcrumbs
- Black pepper (to taste)
- Salt (to taste)
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Bring a pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook the macaroni according to package directions. Drain well.
- Stir in Rondelé® Garlic & Herbs (to taste) and milk until smooth and creamy.
- Line a square baking dish with plastic wrap. Pour in the macaroni mixture, spread evenly, and cover with plastic wrap. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or until firm.
- Once chilled, remove from the dish and cut into bite-sized squares.
- Set up a dredging station with three bowls: one with flour, one with whisked eggs, and one with panko breadcrumbs.
- Coat each mac & cheese square in flour, then dip in egg, then coat with panko.
- Heat oil in a deep fryer or pan to 350°F (175°C). Fry bites in batches until golden and crispy, about 2-3 minutes.
- Remove from oil and drain on a paper towel-lined plate.
- Serve and enjoy!
